Getting AoE damage back in control

It is obvious that ridiculous AoE damage can be achieved with modded toons at a very fast pace. From a gameplay standpoint it is a disastrous experience since current AoE team can clean a fight within 45 seconds flat in auto mode. So there is no strategy needed, no target picking needed, no thinking in fight.
The natural counter to AoE team is counter attack teams, but even a good counter team get overwhelmed by the nominal damage AoE teams do. A crit AoE easily hits for a total of 50K-75K which is absurd. An elegant solution would be to distribute the AoE damage based on the number of targets hit. For example if Lando crit in AoE for 15K.
-2 targets would take 15K individually for a total of 30K
-3 targets would take 10K individually for a total of 30K
-4 targets would take 7.5K each
-5 targets would take 6K each
The AoE damage would remain substantial since 30K damage in 1 action is already really good. But at least the total damage taken by the opposite team would remain manageable. An Aoe team would need more than 2-3 rounds to kill an individual target too which would avoid the incoming issue of an entire team getting AoE down while stunned by palpatine before without being able to do anything.

    Seriously all you need is toons that counter and no one will dare using AoE against you. Start farming characters like Fives, Aayla, Dooku, Ima Gun Di, etc. and your problem is completely solved.

    Seriously can you be constructive and not assume that anyone posting is a scrub asking for nerf? Where in my post do you see that I have a problem that need to be fixed? I have 75+ maxed up characters in this game, I can set up a maxed up aoe squad, a counter strike squad, a full speed droid team, a Wiggs nuke party or a palpatine stun and watch you die squad. And for the record I collect a profit of 2800 crystal a week from arena.
    You on the other end seem to have no clue of what I am talking about and lack the necessary basics in mathematics to comprehend that the amount of nominal damage AoE squads can currently dish out out-weights your counter strike team capabilities. Also you seem to have never heard of STHan which usually is used in combination to said AoE team in order to absorb the counters and feed tm at furious rate. If only you listed Sun Fac in your counter team suggestion I would have given you some credits.

    So before making an answer like yours actually read the post and make a constructive comment. The subject of the post was the impact on gameplay of AoE teams that can dish so much damage that a match can be cleared in 45 second in auto play. I believe a better gameplay experience is achieved when choosing wisely a target and an ability can impact the outcome of a match which is in essence what is behind my suggestion.
