Getting AoE damage back in control
It is obvious that ridiculous AoE damage can be achieved with modded toons at a very fast pace. From a gameplay standpoint it is a disastrous experience since current AoE team can clean a fight within 45 seconds flat in auto mode. So there is no strategy needed, no target picking needed, no thinking in fight.
The natural counter to AoE team is counter attack teams, but even a good counter team get overwhelmed by the nominal damage AoE teams do. A crit AoE easily hits for a total of 50K-75K which is absurd. An elegant solution would be to distribute the AoE damage based on the number of targets hit. For example if Lando crit in AoE for 15K.
-2 targets would take 15K individually for a total of 30K
-3 targets would take 10K individually for a total of 30K
-4 targets would take 7.5K each
-5 targets would take 6K each
The AoE damage would remain substantial since 30K damage in 1 action is already really good. But at least the total damage taken by the opposite team would remain manageable. An Aoe team would need more than 2-3 rounds to kill an individual target too which would avoid the incoming issue of an entire team getting AoE down while stunned by palpatine before without being able to do anything.
