If a guild doesn't complete/attempt phase 1 during the first phase time (0-23 hours), when the second phase time opens (hours 24-47), the guild can then attempt the first territory and when they successfully pass it, they can immediately go into the next territory/(ies).
I dont believe this to be the case. a phase will be open for a fixed amount of time (in this case 24 hours), by not completing a phase i believe you will be locked out of finishing all phases.
I'm sorry I cannot provide facts, as at this point only the Devs have those answers.
