Let's just start by saying you're contradicting yourself here. If rewards for GA are just a bonus to you, then why increase them significantly by adding crystals ? Doesn't make sense based on your sentiment...
Furthermore you want to change daily rewards for a weekly/monthly ones - good call, EVERYONE will love it, will surely help our gear crunch.
And yes, leaving it all up to CG to make it fair and comparable to squad arenas payouts is a good and responsible choice. They never nerfed any rewards before while converting events/raids.
