As I, and no doubt countless other people mentioned weeks ago, basing matches on GP is a set-up for failure. I have an opponent now, I have the same teams, but one 'small' problem: all his/her team...

With autodeploy, only need to set up defense once.

That said, total GP is very bad indicator for GA - I suspect a lot of the time this will produce rather onesided matchups. Of course, if the algorithms start matching winners with winners and losers with losers, things may get a bit more balanced eventually (not sure if that was the case, maybe its just my wishful thinking).
