As someone who lived through pre-crafting, and mod gate, and many other hiccups I will say that this is the way they should always react to mistakes, and it hasn't always been like this. Be happy that they stepped up to the plate, and did what's right. A pleasant surprise that restored a bit of my faith in humanity.
