You'll probably have to give more info on what your opposing teams squad was made up of. There are a few ways HT can lose taunt early. Your ht breach may not stick or get cleansed and hans falcon, tie advanced, umbaran and a couple others can then dispell your ht taunt. Keeping your taunt up all depends on having breach on one of the opposing ships.
