I think you can do it pretty easily with Vet Han at G7, since he is only useful in one level (and he is not the main damage dealer in this level). As for vet Chewie, he was really helpful, and because he had decent mods, was able to do some good damage. You could do it with him at G7, but it would involve more RNG, and / or you would need to compensate with more gear level on Rey of Finn.
To sum up, yes, I think it is doable, but level 5 will be trickier, and you will have to have good RNG/set up to get passed this one.
