I can’t say it’s unfair, but I’m with you pal. I just upgraded a lot of things at once (bad idea) and I never win. I usually sign up, do everyone else a favor and grab the free 8th place rewards. Better than nothing!
The unfortunate aspect part is that you can’t change your diverse roster with semi-characters; once you’re there, you’re stuck.
