How is TW Active GP calculated?
I assumed it was a straight sum of the GP of everyone in your guild who joined the territory war. Therefore, your TW active GP would always be less than or equal to your guild’s total GP.
I am in a 42-member guild with 44 mil GP. In this last TW, we had 37/42 members join. The TW active GP was over 45 mil. So not everyone joined, and yet somehow our active GP was more than our guild total GP.
I took this comparison before the character lock, so it’s not like our guild lost GP after character lock.
Someone in my guild suggested there may be certain teams that give you bonus GP. Is that the case?
It worked out well for us this time because we won and it potentially bumped us into a higher reward category, but I am curious whether this was a bug or if there is something about the calculation of TW active GP I don’t understand.
Feel free to point me to a link if this has been answered elsewhere. I did a search and couldn’t find anything, but that doesn’t mean it’s not there.
Thanks!
