The two g12+ salvages (not even the whole piece g12+ drop) are exactly half of the recipe in terms of raid-only gear. That means another finish in the top 3 is all it would take to craft a full g12+ piece. Include the full piece drop and it could start getting close to 1 piece /raid for consistent top 3 finishers.
Now compare that to those finishing in the mid 20s...or tier 6.
CG is on the cusp of ruining the game and trashing guilds in the process. And some of us thought ships 2.0 was bad.
So yes, it’s 2 raids to get a full piece if you finish in the top 10...if you get the same piece. Imagine you want a specific piece to finish a character. It could literally be months before you get the components to drop twice. To fully gear up an arena team if you are finishing 4-10 it’s going to take a minimum of 10 weeks. Absolute best case, if you get the pieces you need. It could very well take 6 months or longer if you aren’t getting the pieces you need.
I almost always finish top 10 in my guild, and I’m dreadinf this farm. I know plenty of people who are stronger than me but are in a top guild, so they finish bottom half consistently. Or people who just can’t always be on to hit the raid. Maybe a year from now they will complete their arena teams.
