Where are the Bonus Drops?

Just watched Ahnaldts video on it, apparently the bonus drops only start on the 2nd. However, my game is in german and the german newsletter notification says that it starts on the 1st.

well they have started here in New Zealand and I'm still asking that question drop rate seems awful 

What exactly is bonus dropping?  What energy should people save the day before who aren't on a new day yet?  Thanks for any info

either shards for Kelleran Beq, Paz Vizla, Grogu or if you have those zetas it's cantina energy with about 500 energy spent I have got 1 zeta

Is it only cantina energy that has a chance for zetas?  

Bonus drops aren’t expected here till January 2. So I’m not sure where you are seeing January 1. 

The OP said it was in their Newsletter (in German).

It’s possible the OP misread the newsletter - it uses US date format (mm/dd/yyyy) which is not how most of Europe writes/reads dates. 

I know the first time I saw the newsletter the 01 at the start briefly threw me.

No, it didn't. It said 1st to 5th, at least in Germany.
