How to fix Boba Fett, Scion of Jango
So, I am going to show how Boba Fett, Scion of Jango can be touched up since he is needing some love, especially with the TW Omis as well as outside of TW. Basically, he should be working with Bounty Hunters mainly, but I can see some touch ups to work with Tuskens if needed. Also having some more support with Mercenaries would help him out as well. Again, I only show what needs to change and what doesn't. I like the kit in General, just I can see it needs some support in and out of TW. Plus, I feel like the AI needs to bounce between both of his special abilities instead of using both at the same time. I do know CG doesn't like their touch ups and reworks unless they can make money out of it. However, as of today there is a showing of a Light Speed Bundle taking Boba Fett, Scion of Jango to R6 at least. So a way to make money and update this character, is there.
Duel Barrage:
Deal Physical damage to target enemy and the weakest enemy. This ability has additional effects based on the number of stacks of Momentum Boba Fett, Scion of Jango has.
- 0 Stacks: All Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, or Scoundrel allies gain Tenacity Up and Offense Up for 1 turn
- 5 Stacks: All Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, or Scoundrel allies gain Tenacity Up and Offense Up for 2 turns
- 8 Stacks: All Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, or Scoundrel allies gain Tenacity Up and Offense Up for 3 turns
Gain 1 stack of Momentum for 3 turns, and if the target enemy is inflicted with Armor Shred, gain an additional stack of Momentum. These Momentum gains can't be copied, dispelled, or prevented.
While in Territory Wars: This ability gains a new benefit based on the number of stacks of Momentum Boba Fett, Scion of Jango has.
- 15 Stacks: All Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, or Scoundrel allies gain Tenacity Up and Offense Up for 4 turns, which these buffs can't be dispelled or resisted. Then inflict Protection Disruption for 2 turns, and these effects can't be dispelled, evaded or resisted.
Protection Disruption: Protection is disabled, immune to Protection Up and bonus Protection
Dangerous Reputation:
Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, or Scoundrel allies have +25% Critical Avoidance and +25% Defense, doubled while they have Tenacity Up. While debuffed, Bounty Hunter or Scoundrel allies gain 40% Critical Damage.
When Boba Fett, Scion of Jango is in the Leader slot, and not the Ally slot, the following Contract is active:
Contract: While buffed, damage a debuffed enemy 15 times. Enemies must be debuffed before the start of an attack to count progress. (Only Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, or Scoundrel allies can contribute to the Contract.)
Reward: All Bounty Hunter allies have their payouts activated, and all Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, or Scoundrel allies gain 35% Offense, Defense, and Health Steal, and ignore Taunt.
While in Territory Wars: Bounty Hunter or Scoundrel allies have +30 Speed, +50% Mastery, +30% Potency, Max Health, and Max Protection and take 20% less damage.
Boba Fett, Scion of Jango gains an additional 60 Speed, and 100% Max Health, and Max Protection. Contract requirements and rewards are adjusted as follows:
Contract: While buffed, damage a debuffed enemy 10 times. Enemies must be debuffed before the start of an attack to count progress. (Only Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, or Scoundrel allies can contribute to the Contract.)
Reward: All Bounty Hunter allies have their payouts activated, and all Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, or Scoundrel allies gain 40% Offense, Defense, and Health Steal, ignore Taunt and each time they deal damage with an ability, they deal damage an additional time as true damage.
Fett Legacy:
Boba Fett, Scion of Jango has +50% Offense. At the start of the encounter, Boba Fett, Scion of Jango gains Bounty Hunter's Resolve until he is defeated. Boba Fett is immune to enemy Ability Block and Stun, and whenever he defeats an enemy, he recovers 100% Protection and gains Bounty Hunter's Resolve until he's defeated.
If Boba Fett, Scion of Jango is in the Leader slot and all other allies are Tusken, Boba Fett, Scion of Jango gains the Tusken Tag and all other Tusken allies gain the Scoundrel Tag.
Whenever Boba Fett, Scion of Jango gains a stack of Momentum, he gains 5% Turn Meter. Whenever he scores a critical hit, he gains a stack of Momentum for 3 turns which can't be copied, dispelled, or prevented.
If Boba Fett, Scion of Jango uses the same Special ability three turns in a row, that ability becomes Blocked for 1 turn.
While in Territory Wars: Double Action, Dual Barrage, and Bounty Breaker generate an additional stack of Momentum when used. Bounty Breaker's debuffs can't be resisted or dispelled. Boba Scion of Jango starts the encounter with 5 stacks of Momentum. Boba Fett, Scion of Jango is immune to Damage Over Time effects.
If Boba Fett, Scion of Jango in in the leader slot and all other allies are Tusken, Tusken Chieftain's Leadership is activated until he is defeated, and Tusken Raider gains Taunt, Tenacity up and Defense Up at the start of the encounter for 3 turns which can't be dispelled or resisted.
Boba Fett, Scion of Jango's Payout:
Whenever Boba Fett, Scion of Jango receives Rewards from a Contract, or when the leader is another non-Bounty Hunter Scoundrel ally, he also gains the following Payout. (Contracts are granted by certain Bounty Hunter Leader Abilities.)
Payout: Boba Fett, Scion of Jango gains +40% Critical Avoidance and Defense Penetration, and all Momentum gains from his abilities are doubled for the rest of the battle.
Since Boba Fett, Scion of Jango was created, there was no need for Tuskens. He didn't perform as well as players wanted. It was to focused on his omicrons and even then he struggled. Plus I feel Jango Fett's leadership was 10 times better outside of TW omicron. However, since the release of Tuskens, they could have allowed Boba to be a Tusken, yet nope they didn't aside from a Omicron on Chieftain in 3v3, which should be extended to all of GAC instead. So, my ideas are a way to make all game modes allow him to be a Tusken and the Tuskens to benefit from his lead while not taking away from his other teams. Plus adding more benefits from the Omicron will help players in TW as well. I also can see the Mercenary tag added to his kit to benefit Mercs since its newer faction and not adding the Soldier of Fortune to the kit.
