I think it's funny...if they made it too easy, ppl would complain...if they make it too hard ppl complain. My friend reminded me that EA/CG is a business and they need to make money.
Just think if you were the president of that company and were giving out a free game to play. how exactly would you pay for your employees and/or your own salary? Where do you think the revenue for this game comes from...by requiring 1* characters and a ton of upfront rewards?
And for the record, all of those complaining about no love for DS, next year when they do have a DS TB, you will be happy.
