Ok, I'm basing this in my guild's experience, but for a long while it seems that the 1st place rewards for the Heroic sith raid are actually WORSE than the rest of the top 10. Sure, more tokens, etc, ...

Without collecting actual data, all you will get is how people feel and remember things, this is not likely to lead to any real knowledge about the situation.
