People are leaving, no doubt about it. Most that I hear from say it isn't just this disaster, but a long list of things. The game is in decay and CG keeps screwing up over and over. This train wreck is just the straw that the camel cannot carry.
Things are definitely slowing down. With the introduction of timed events (raids) and buffs (datacron) CG have kinda hit the wall on providing new, quality content. All they can do now is provide a temporary fix to keep people spending because the whales are pretty much maxing new content as soon as it comes out. Other than new characters the game just feels stale.
