Yup pretty much any attack that does damage first than debuffs will rarely ever land the debuff.
Yeah, this is unfortunate.
From everything we have heard in response to questions about the raid, it feels like this is based for us about 6 months from now. Yay, future us. But that doesn't help us now.
We all know there are multiple avenues to make this easier, and I don't feel they will change the raid too much from its current state, they will take all the other player side routes, mods, lvl cap, new toons, and abilities.
This raid will fall in line just like HAAT has for things that we slugged away at that become trivial later on.
I am also pessimistic.
However, this is genuinly cheating.
I mean, what can I do to prevent it?
It is not correct if a turn is interrupted.
Take FO TIE Pilot.
https://swgoh.gg/characters/first-order-tie-pilot/
According to his unique, he gains Advantage whenever an enemy falls below full health.
According this logic:
1. FOTIE damages an enemy with basic
2. Enemy falls below full health
3. Pilot gains Advantage
4. The basic ability activates and gains a bonus attack
However, this never happens, because it wouldnt be not WAI, however the text doesnt Imply WHEN FOTIEP gains the advantage (immediately or end of the turn)
So, according the logic whenever the text doesnt say, an effect should take place immediately, even in the middle of a turn.
Probably, this is not a "Bug", but surely a fault in the design.
Unnecesary and just annoying.(And breaks the current system as well)
1. FOTP damages enemy with basic
2. Enemy falls below full health
3. FOTP unique triggers and give FOTP advanatge
4. Basic triggers to check if FOTP has advanatge
5. FOTP attacks again.
It actually makes sense when you think about it. The unique doesnt interrupt the turn, it just activates whenever a enemy falls below full HP. Similary, the advanage check is "below the stack". Only when one part of the stack resolves and nothing else hapoens does the stack move on. If a new ability is placed on the stack, it gets resolved first.
