You're 100% right. He has a cameo running through the Rebel base. Also you can hear a page for Hera at one point. I think they both should be R1. B)

Yeah exactly it is an easter egg and while technically they appeared in the film it wasnt about those characters. If we followed this logic, Grand Moff Tarkin, Darth Vader, Princess Leia and R2D2 would also hold the Rogue 1 Tag.

U guys got it all wrong. Only the chars that was with jyn are rogue one. If u think any chars are rogue one base on the movie, you might as well considered all the empire chars in the rogue one movie as rogue one.

Thats like saying La La Land is a best picture winner
