Jedi Knight Anakin Situation

Just want to start by saying this is mostly a complain post, so who ever doesn't wanna hear it you are more than welcome to leave now. Also sorry about my English, not my native language.
I am a huge Anakin fan and since a started playing this game 3 years ago i have always tried to include him in my lineups. In my first year playing the game, he was pretty useful in a jedi lineup but fell quick through the ranks with Aylas countering and stunning abilities and with Ezras power.
I was pretty excited when i heard he was getting a rework, but i was quickly disappointed by how he ended up getting a touch-up. When they originally mentioned that he would get a rework. Then they said he wasn't going to get nerfed, but they found a way to exclude him from jedi lineups. I know people are saying that there is going to be another Anakin, but the only other Anakin that i can think that might be coming in the game is Fallen Anakin or pedwan Anakin from episode 2. The first mentioned is definitely a strong character but a dark side character, which i dont need or want as much. Now the second one, if he was to be introduced in the game in my opinion should be less powerful or useful of a character than the one we already have. The one we already have looks like the Anakin from the Clones Wars series and episode 3, which was one of the most powerful duelist jedis and a great master to Ashoka. Reckless but damn strong! He destroyed Dooku, which was so much more viable than Anakin in this game and they decided to give him a whole new boost nothing like the fake touch up Anakin got. Now, Asajj another really useful character in the game was beaten so many times by Anakin it was ridiculous, but still got 2 zetas and is being used in so many different aspects of the game. I might be bias, but i really can't understand the thought process behind the reworks that are being given. Dooku, GG, Nute and Asajj have gotten such great reworks and they were all humiliated by Anakin in both the films and the cartoon series.
I am a big Anakin fan, but i think this stands for many other characters. Like why is d*mb a*s Jolee so much more useful than Hermit f*cking Yoda, the master of all masters. Why? Why is Anakin nerfed and touched up in such a weak way. Since he defeated Dooku, Asajj and Nute in the movies, shouldn't he be stronger or more useful character in the game than them? He has gotten 3 reworks now and still can't be used in many aspects of the game. Can someone from the CG Team please explain?

I would really appreciate it!
Thanks for reading!

Idk.. anakin is a very strong character. He just has a simple kit instead of a complex one, which I feel suits his character. He wasn't a thinker or planner. He was a strong fighter that would go into a rage (how un-jedi of him) whenever his family was threatened. That's exactly what he does now! His kit fits his character well and when used with the proper team, he is a very strong character.

    (Insert complaint)
"But he is no longer plug and play! They nerfed him by restricting him to galactic republic!"

True, but that also makes sense. He still gets a bonus turn, taking advantage if the enemies moment of triumph in defeating your ally to strike back. However his righteous anger 100% damage buff only applies if that defeated ally was a friend of his.

Overall his rework thematically is spot on, and let's him be powerful within a team that he synergize with.

Get your padme next time and get them all to G12 and try using anakin in the team that is built to work with him, then come back and explain why his rework wasnt sufficient.

I totally agree! I just think that he should be more useful on a jedi lineup than he is now. After all, he never really supported the Galactic Republic as much.
Also, he still gets a bonus turn, but with his simple kit as you mentioned there is not much you can do against the enemies. I definitely believe he was a better character than what CLS was at than point and he is nothing close to that.

The CLS argument doesn't hold it's ground. You are comparing a 3,5 year old cantina+node farm toon to a Hero's Journey character. This is a game on a holotable, not accurate Star Wars lore. Take into account the difficulty of obtaining the toon, not realistic power levels. (Or if you really insist on the lore, Anakin being used with GR makes a lot more sense than being used with Bastila or Revan).

If story-based power levels mattered, Palpatine would have been the meta since he was released, possibly being outperformed by Triumvirate and/or DR only, but since the two eras are so far apart, there's no "realistic" comparison for that either. (Those two actually beat Palpatine, but not because of lore. They are both more recent and much harder to obtain, hence the difference in performance).

If i was to have Anakin to his actual potential i wouldn't mind obtaining him through a hero journey, but because he was released way back he never had a heros journey.
Also, i would prefer a dope jedi Anakin that can be used in a jedi line up and have Bastilla and Revan on Old Republic teams only. These are characters based on another game and not based on the movies we all watched and enjoyed throughout our childhood.

    Simple is good.
Otherwise there's a big chance AI will screw up and the team become an attack-only team.
