OP, we have a general statement that tags may be omitted due to game balance reasons.
As he said in the movie "I am a jedi. Like my father before me". As for who is on his team, this is a game about a game in a cantina. We can have characters playing standing next to a younger/older version of themselves, or mortal enemies on the same team...... I find Luke teamed with other jedi, less odd than either of those. But that's just me.
