It's dumb that the Vader - Anakin connection is a secret. If anything, Palpatine should have broadcast that fact everywhere, to show how even some Jedi realized how awful the Jedi Order was and defected to the Empire, and were welcomed and some even given positions of responsibility.
The Jedi Order is dead why waste time running a smear campaign it’s not like the order will be running an election against Palpatine in 4 years
