First of all, he definitely wasn't killed, he appears in Rebels, which take place later in the timeline. Also he was stabbed in the 2nd episode, not the 1st.

My thinking is that Grand Inquisitor event is required to wait until the show has him still alive. No way they’re releasing a toon who dies in Ep 2.

Assuming Rebels is being retconned?

Do we even know if the GI weve met in this show is the same one from Rebels?

Well the interviews with Rupert Friend seem to make it pretty clear that it's the same character. Or at the very least that he's been led to believe that it's the same character, because he's talked about how the GI used to be a Jedi Temple Guard. What are the chances that there's another Inquisitor-in-waiting out there who's also conveniently a Pau'an anyway

Everything will be explained in the Marvel / Star Wars Crossover series: Obi-Wan in the Multiverse of madness, where we will finally see a team of 5 Hans on screen.

Holy heck this was a good start. Love the casting of leia, kid nails alot of her personality traits.
Found it kinda odd the rogue jedi somehow found kenobi in the middle of the dune sea.. like if it's that easy why didn't the Inquisitors pick up on that trail?
Ep 2 was cool to see Alderaan, and the "neon" planet (forget it's name). Kinda disappointed about the Grand Inquistor's roll though....

What GI hype? I didn't think the show hyped him up too much, he was their boss, and he got ambushed which was fine imo

Reva's acting was pretty good and solid imo

Leia chase was kinda comical but i don't think it ruined the episode or anything, the chase scene could've been a whole lot shorter

Snoke was being built up over years though, GI was shown in the first ep and the second ep was right after instead of a week long break so i didn't feel any hype for GI

About the GI I had the thought that maybe he isn't the one from Rebels, which would explain the different appearance and how he could be alive in Rebels but seems to be dead already in Kenobi. Maybe when one dies, another one takes his place.

Random thought I had about Reva’s obsession with capturing Obi-Wan. The Grand Inquisitor mentioned she was “found in the gutters” or something like that, so you think she looks up to Vader? Seeing as she somehow knows he was Anakin, and because of Anakin’s power despite his childhood beginnings, she thinks perhaps she can become powerful like that, and wants to impress him because maybe she looks at Vader as an inspiration, or idol? What better way to impress her possible idol than capturing the man he probably hates more than anyone else? She also seems very reckless and impulsive, as mentioned by her fellow (or formerly fellow?) inquisitors just like how Anakin was.

So is the gi in rebels a clone then? Is this supposed to set up cloning for sith eternal emperor?

I think he was referring to Satine when he was talking to Leia.
