Characters are not placed in light or dark side for one act, even if it is a major one. Barris turned dark so she should be dark side.. not. The same can be said for Cody (Order 66) or JKA (The whole Mustafar thing). Savage dueled Palpatine and Hux was a spy, but they belong in the dark side. Ventress is classified as dark side, and any new versions would be as well.
