Lack of content

But we've been getting all of those new characters that nobody knows or cares about...

Sim tickets ruin the amount of busy work these games usually give you. I'd say we have a fair amount of content, but I can get my days worth of farming done in 5 minutes. don't get me wrong, I just quit a game because it required just as much ( and as bad) farming, but took me all day to do. I much prefer this method.

Think of it this way... if they've waited this long, the next thing to come is going to be super awesome n'stuff. Patience young one

Toons are fine. The game is what it is.

However, ships, I agree were released very awkwardly. I guess, now, eventually, one day, I'll finally unlock the Tie advanced if RNG is with me.... Which will give me two ships and a 3* Reaper which i still... somewhere.

It's just, where are the base level ships for the one dark side admiral we do have? I'll be fully honest, I invested some time into Tarkin because I wanted him to be my admiral. I gambled wrong. I had to do a fairly big turn around for Mace. Going republic when I had focused on empire put me so far behind, I'm still working on climbing back up the ranks of ships. (I grant I did need to invest to get the Zeta challenge, but it really doesn't change the arena situation)

And now, I've invested in Mace and the republic... Mace and Plo's Taunt round-robbin is doing me very well. As I get the interceptor, reaper, maybe Gar saxons mandalorian whatever, I don't know if I even care anymore.

Royal guard should have had an interceptor FROM THE BEGINNING. And did whatever they needed to bring in a Tie bomber. Three base level ships minimum, from the start.

But man, we got them geonosian ships for, uh, when the Hive mother gets her beehive-butt Admiral ship and shoots mind control worms at you from space. Oh, wait, those worms can't stand the cold.... NM.............

I would like more to do as well. I mean, if this game is a legit cash grab then at least make the cash go a little further! I personally love the game but it'd be great to have things to do with that ever-growing lineup of characters :)

Yeah, the whole game is on farm status. SIM your energy and challenges. Do a few PvP battles with the same guys against the same other guys. Sleep walk through GW or artificially try to make it harder for yourself. Auto raids. Auto events. Rinse and repeat the next day. I can appreciate not everyone is in this position, but for those who are GvG or something truly new and exciting (not just new toons and ships) is sorely needed.

Someone suggested a survival or horde mode which I think would be really cool

That's not what these particular companies do. Maybe if people would stop paying hundreds and thousands of dollars, just for a few new characters, it would force them to give a little bit.

Mace's capital ship actually rocks out hard when he's teamed up with TIE Advanced and other target locking Dark Side ships. Keeping the TIE Advanced behind Biggs' taunt, Maul's stealth, etc. makes it relatively trivial to put up 5 target locks, which allows Mace to get lots of turn meter & spam his AOE attack. And then he just goes and goes and goes...
