Yes, Rey is definitely a character worth farming. With her ability to one-shot she will always be a soft target and numero uno on the killing list. If she survive she can take out almost every toon and will have foresight. Which character from your team will you sacrifice for Rey?

I guess Dokuu is the best lead atm.QGJ is only good for speed as leader - he will have an assist (as long as you didn't stun that slot before), but too low on health. So you might have to make a decision between Dooku and QGJ for the lead which depends on your team that you're running.I commented on Rey in my last post.The AI is good in doing worse for Yoda. If he really uses meditation as soon as he has something to share... He will be so much op with Ima... you target him, he counters, get foresight and spread it out :-) As long as that isn't fixed I'll leave him out.Leia is a solid character but as long as we have the speed meta she is too slow. She always loses a round when stealthing and will come back the next one with a good amount of damage - often too late against speed/dps teams.A good defense team would be: Dooku, Rey, RG, Dakka and EE. You kill Rey, Dakka or EE will bring her back, possible twice. And you must one-shot her, otherwise RG kicks is. She can almost take out any charakter in one-hit, while beeing protected by the others... but of course there is always a counter for a counter for a counter... but I guess that will be the most annoying team at the moment :-)

The real damage in the team you're suggesting is ony done by Rey. As Barris and Lumi don't bring her back and Daka is not a guaranteed revive, the damage is gone once Rey is one-shotted. Also with a stunned RG and focussed Rey it's a game over.And yes, RG is a good protection and help your team to breath a little. But maybe still not enough damage to win the fight with Lumi and Barris.The actual meta dictates that you need heavy dmg critters to win the fight. The update may change this as the devs are planning to prolong the fights and give defense a chance.Until that it's speed, damage, more speed, damage, more damage, speed... :smiley:

Also a warm welcome to our little family. It's always good to have as many players participating as possible in our shard thread. Espescially when almost everybody is from a different guilde.

Hate is a strong word. I like competition and sportmanship. As we will abadon the leaderboard next month and give way to other guilds to shine there, the arena is the only competition left. I like to test all kind of different teams as we also discuss them within the guild.

And honestly I don't care if I drop down to some degree as we all know that the AI is making mysterious decisions who and how to attack or defend. Actually there is NO team out there which can't be beaten. Which in fact is a good thing as it shows that there is a balance in the characters although most of them are the same team combo.

And saying that RNGesus is also always a factor that can turn a certain victory into a nasty defeat.

So keep on coming at me, but be prepared to lose :smile:

Do anybody knows the asian (?) guy from the guild BinarySun? he is relative new in the Top10 or renamed himself. Since some weeks he fights for the top ranks in my timezone next to Blasphemy, Mixahead and Pruemel.

I don't know him, but by looking into his inventory I must say it looks completly legit and like a typical ftp player with small investment. Do you have any suspicions?

No just wondering where he is coming from. You know there are always rumors that EA is merging servers. Most of the names in the top20 I am knowing, but he seems new to me. Maybe because we all reached lvl80 and he is playing regular.

Hey Smite,

Thanks for replying, do appreciate the welcome. Haha yeah I see you've been clearly trying out various comps. At the moment you have the comp that I want to run with the exception of B2, I find B2 somewhat useless because he is too slow. Indeed the protection with RG seemed to have helped but the AI again let's you down. He didn't once use his AoE on me in for this week. I was able to take him out with relative ease.
The grind for raid gear surely is taxing but you will see a change up from my usual team soon as yes it gets stale quite fast.

It's not the same as a live chat but at least we can share opinions and whatnot.
Talking about opinions.. think I will go for geo spy.. any chance you think he will be good?

The package sounds very interesting. Fought yesterday against Smite and his Anni, Sun Fuc, B2, Fives and Aayla Combo and it was really hard to beat. His old droid combo with JE and B2 was not so dangerous.

it was easy for me to beat him. focused b2 then anni. still my f2p team is weak without ben :(

BTW a few days ago solo cleared t7 first phase .
having han solo soon, but he seems to be useless with only 20k hp and protection
