Dodge is the most annoying mechanic in the game. There even used to be a mega-thread just for all the people complaining about it. So the devs decided to buff a Dodge lead into extreme over powered status and bring dodge back.
Dodge is annoying, and Maul is everywhere. It's very common for me to be ranked between 12 - 30, and Maul leads be my ONLY choice in opponents. It's just not fun.
I'm not having fun in arena lately, and I feel like just waiting for the meta to change and Maul to go away so I can have fun again. I've even thought about deliberately letting my rank fall, just hoping I can fight non Maul teams on my way back up.
This meta can not go away fast enough. If I were able to talk to a dev, I'd practically beg them to shake things up and get people to stop playing Maul, asap.
Problem is, people had to zeta Maul. And zeta's aren't easy to get. So metas in this zeta era are likely to shift slower than before zeta's existed. I don't foresee Maul going away any time soon. Unfortunately.
