Leader abilities when not in the leader position.

Would it be possible for a leader ability to turn into a unique ability when not in the leader position? So the effects of the ability would just affect the character the ability belonged to and not s...

Why should I? As you say, META's come and go, but this would allow leader abilities to act as a second unique ability when not activated. There are plenty of toons with 2 uniques and no lead ability and the game isn't broken. It's the same thing. It's not like having two leader abilities active on the field. It only applies to the toon it belongs to. As I said, like a second unique, which many other toons have and the game functions just fine with them.
