R2 is extremely rare too, but has returned 4 times if not five, all legendary events have this extremely rare description
R2 has only had 3 events ever, first was in June.
Chimaera has only had 1 event, first was in October.

Normally there's the initial event. Then ~4 months later there's the second time it runs. After that it becomes more frequent until eventually becoming bimonthly. R2-D2 was on a slightly different schedule because it was needed for Luke, so they did the first event, then a couple months later did the second, then several months later did the third. Now that it's repeated a third time, it should be back to the normal schedule.
Since there's no ship Hero's Journey, there probably won't be a faster turnaround on Chimaera, meaning expect it late January or February.
