Generally speaking the "better" guilds have more JTR's, but funny enough those guilds don't need that many JTR's to be able to clear the HSR.

In 'Honorbound' we've completed the heroic tier 11 times by now. We are completing it with more and more ease for every time. First time it was a 40h run. Last time was a 4h run. And no, we didn't get more JTRs in the guild since our first completion. JTR is not the single deciding factor to completing the heroic tier.
Exactly.
Just to clarify, before my guild was able to tackle heroic i overestimated JTR's importance aswell.
Also, having 50 great JTR teams obviously helps, but those 50 JTR teams alone won't get you there. For example; I'd rather have 20 JTR teams, 20 chexmix teams and 10 NS teams in my guild than just 50 JTR teams and none of the other two. In my humble opinion the former will make the HSR easier to tackle.
