Our guild (239M) have completed the following total combat waves over the last 3 of them:
167, 327, 467
Slowly, but surely, we’re making progress and finding out which squads work (not many) and which squads don’t (a great many!)
That’s a huge improvement each time. You’re definitely in a great guild, which I think is another factor that can cause progression to go either way.
I’ve seen some of my own guild mates who have become discouraged and put less effort into it each time.
