While I wish the credit heist was on a set day, there have been 3 recent changes that is pushing to get people to logon more often.
Move of Arena tokens from rewards to daily activity.
Credit Heist being on a random day.
TD event being on a random day.
This is a game designed to make some money.
IMO someone has determined that the more people that logon on more often the higher chance of them spending money on something.
Same with challenges timers, seems no logical reason for them other than to get you to keep logging on.
Unfortunately that makes too much sense. I really wish though that they released weekly events that occur on different days. Ex: Credit Heist every Friday, Droid smuggling every Monday, etc. They could also release new weekly events that aren't as complex as say military might and that involves different factions and rewards, that way there is something new to do every day. Basically phase out current challenge and put in new challenges and weekly events.
