Refresh then.
It’s more effective to just buy the shards.
Logray is effectively still p2p
A character that takes a long time to farm, but has also been available to farm for a long time (over a year - placed in the guild store on October 18, 2017) is effectively p2p?
Ok.
For the purposes of the C3PO event yes."Olddumper;c-1710122" wrote:

Logray has been in the guild store for over a year.
If you do not have him by now, it's because you chose not to have him. It's not pay-to-play. It's just a farm you didn't choose to do, and now you get to deal with the consequences of your choice to not farm Logray.- I’m not even really doubting that devs won’t make it easier for the event. It’s a little hilarious that so many people on this forum love to immediately point at the users for “muh personal responsibly, muh personal choice”. It’s almost as if they are drunk on this concept for this game probably because they struggle with it in real life, thus they can feel superior here. Nobody plays a fermium mobile game to practice/be personally responsible. They play it to enjoy themselves/pass the time. Every time I make a post about balancing the game and re-evaluating it’s content to make it better, I get hit with BE peRSOnaBLy ReSPonsIble.
Take a good look at the game and tell me we don’t need to nudge the devs in the right direction. - What an odd thing to take from the fact that it was super easy to have a 7* Logray by now if you've been playing the whole time he's been farmable.

Just step back for a second and tell me if you would consciously create the system the way it is as a design choice. It really is quite nonsense. CG has this group trained. They could probably even drop a new legendary toon and hero’s journey 3 weeks apart with different requirements and people wouldn’t even question it."Olddumper;c-1710154" wrote:

Yes. It's a fairly predictable system. Certainly much better than other games I've played where events similar to Marquee Events are the only way to get shards and the occurrence of the event is competent unpredictable.
It could be better, and there are some suggestions in this thread that are pretty good. But the p2p and poor design criticisms just don't stick."Olddumper;c-1710154" wrote:

I'm not a game designer. It doesn't matter what I think they should do, it matters what they've done. They put a toon in the guild store. I can farm him or I can not farm him. My choice.
You can keep asking them to change something they clearly aren't going to change, or you can farm. Which one has the higher likelihood of success?"Olddumper;c-1710142" wrote:

So you're saying the people who are messed up in real life are the people pointing out the character's been farmable for a year, not the people who are calling the game pay to win because they didn't farm a character who's been free to farm for over a year, who isn't even required to run the event, because there are seven Ewoks.
...
Yeah, no."YaeVizsla;c-1710176" wrote:
