Marka Ragnos Fankit

I am continuing this trend of going down the really old and really ancient Sith Lords, with today being Marka Ragnos on the list. I hope you enjoy the read and that I earn your honest feedback!

Marka Ragnos
Roles: Dark Side, Sith, Support, Leader
Description: Powerful Sith Sorcerer who massively improves Shock and allies that capitalize on it

(Basic) Corrupted Lightning
Deal special damage to the target enemy and inflict Shock for 2 turns. Damage any other enemy that also has Shock. This Ability cannot be evaded or counterattacked. For each enemy with Shock, Marka Ragnos recovers 1% Health and Protection.

(Special) Force Barrier (3 turn CD)
Dispel all debuffs on the target ally and grant them Force Barrier for 2 turns.

Force Barrier: Grants this unit Protection Up (40%). +100% Defense and Tenacity against enemies with Shock. Whenever an enemy with Shock uses a Special Ability, Protection Up recovers fully. This Effect is dispelled if Protection Up is completely drained by damage or after 2 turns.

(Special) Dark Surge (10 turn CD)
Deal damage 12 times to random enemies, prioritizing enemies with Shock. Enemies hit that do not have Shock are inflicted with Shock for 2 turns. Enemies with Shock lose 5% Turnmeter whenever damaged by this Ability. Whenever an enemy is inflicted with Shock, reduce the cooldown of this Ability by 1.

(Leader) Secrets of Sorcery
Sith allies gain +50% Potency and have bonus Max Protection equal to their Potency Percentage. Whenever an enemy with Shock is damaged, for each enemy with Shock, all allies recover 2% Health and Protection.

Whenever an enemy with Shock takes a turn, all Sith allies gain +5% Turnmeter, tripled against Jedi enemies. If Marka Ragnos is below 100% Health, Shock on enemies inflicted through any source cannot be resisted or dispelled and its damaging effect is doubled. If a Sith Ally is at full health and inflicts Shock on an enemy, they gain +5% Critical Chance and Critical Damage (Stacking) until the end of the Encounter.

(Unique) An Empty Throne
Marka Ragnos gains +15 Speed for each enemy without Shock and for each debuffed ally. Whenever Shock expires or is dispelled from an enemy, all Sith allies gain +5% Turnmeter.

At the beginning of each encounter, if all allies are Sith, and whenever a Sith ally is defeated, Marka Ragnos gains a Bonus Turn, during which he can only use the granted Ability Lightning Flash.

Lightning Flash: Deal special damage to all enemies and inflict them with Shock and Daze for 2 turns. Enemies already inflicted with Shock are stunned for 2 turns. If no enemy is inflicted with Shock when this Ability is used, reduce all enemies’ Max Health and Max Protection by 10% (Stacking). This Ability cannot be evaded or resisted.

  • This kit is amazing. Utilises shock perfectly, keeping not too OP, and I can already see this team working with EP, DR, BSF and other shockers, and I do think that a granted ability to unite the Sith faction through shock could be nice, but maybe too much for 1 character. Honestly though, I love it.

    1 Q: How does random targeting prioritization work? Does it have a 75% chance to hit a prioritized enemy, and 25% other or something different?

    Pretty much. Enemies with shock would have a much higher chance of being hit than enemies without it.
