I believe what OP is saying is possible. I achieved red crate several days early and was curious about how difficult some of the missing feats were, so I worked on them. I ended up getting every single feat and 3/3 on every node. I scrolled down though the main page; every sector was maxed, and I had 8/8 global feats. 668 banners in total, but when I received my rewards the inbox message indicated that I only had 667 banners. I also have no screen shots to prove my claim, but I think I will be taking them from now on.
I thought the total banners you can earn was 667. How could you have gotten 668?

Can't CG just got look at player history to verify. In this case verify that I got the red crate. I believe they should be able to look at my player history and accomplishments. How else do they resolve specific issues that are isolated to specific players when they arise?
Go to Settings->Help as somebody else suggested. Follow the link and create a support ticket. That's the only way I know that might get somebody to look at your particular data.
