How to delete pet crate from adoption?

It is supposed too be removed once the adoption is finished the npc takes it.

Have you tried a reset on it?

Press ctrl+shift+c
Type testingcheats on
Shift+click on the crate
Select reset object

Try traveling to another lot and back.

Try to repair your game.

I'll try that. Even after I adopt the pet the crate stays? Does the npc need to leave the house after?

Or, maybe shift-click? There might be an option to delete the object. Or, use the sledge hammer in build mode?

the npc leaves and pet crate disappears with them.

this has just started happening to me aswell


edit:
shift clicking didnt help but leaving the plot and coming back cleared the pet cage

Simply enclose the full crate in a box and delete the room, it should work if the whole crate is in it
