Its about choice of squads like alot of the assault battles. pheonix do not do well against palp on 2nd tier unless you get kanans taunt off before stunning starts. On the other hand lots of other rebel squads walk through it with ease, you may want to try another squad or farm another one for next time if you want to complete the tier
