This is a common issue, where you point us to a different support group and then leave us out to dry. EA Support does NOT help with this stuff because they dont understand what it is we are talking about. They have zero knowledge of SWGOH, and even if we explain things with screenshots most of the responses is "sorry we cant help, please talk to So and so instead."
I have also lost my mods, albeit in a different circumstance. I accidentally sold them. Yet the response here was to go to EA help support, which i did this morning, talked to TWO different people and they said they can't help me, but pointed me instead to a forum post about reaching to a DEVELOPER at CG and trying to have the mods restored through them instead.
EA has almost no control over anything that CG offers because of the Negotiator shard hiccup that happened years ago where a EA support person gave someone 330 shards of Negotiator when it wasnt even possible to have it unlocked yet. Since then, EA support has been hamstrung and basically cant do anything with SWGOH players anymore.
Its up to you @EA_Lanna to actually try to help us instead of pointing us to someone that absolutely CANNOT help us in cases such as these.
MODS have been restored before to previous players that sold them by accident or even intentionally while intoxicated online. Apparently you just have to be a famous streamer to get the sort of support you should be offering to ALL players, not just the ones that promote the game for you and also spend a bajillion.
I am, just like the OP, a paying customer. Losing these mods unintentionally without being offered to restore them whilst we all know you can, is just....
Now please, take this case and mine seriously. We have put years into our accounts and losing mods or selling them unintentionally is a HUGE setback. If you dont play swgoh, then you wont understand this but man, this is such an important part of the game that without mods that we worked years for, we might as well quit.
