The increase in gray mod drops happened when they switched to 100% drop rate on mods. The drop rate for good mods stayed about the same but you got a lot more junk to go with it.
I don’t have any reason to believe the proportion of speed secondaries has decreased.
Mod recommendations are just there as an option for people who don’t know what they are doing and want something quick and easy. If you want good mod choices just pretend that feature isn’t there.
I would like to see an increase in the storage cap and I would absolutely like the option to immediately sell mods wherever they appear.
I agree with the being able to sell instead of claim a bad mod. It makes no sense at all and really is frustrating.
I get that with the challenges opened up it allowed more grey mods through. While by by no means a scientific sample over the past month of farming mods I managed to get 6 gold mods (2 of which I had to sell because they were
Crap) roughly 8-10 purple quite a few green.
This is where my point about how mods 2.0 was supposed to save us money with the seeming reduction in gold and purple we have to spread at least the minimum of credits to release the stats. The over abundance of green and grey make the saving part nigh impossible. Yes it is cheaper to level but when you add in all the mods you have to lvl to 12 on greys in the end it becomes quite a bit more expensive to try and find a good mod with solid secondaries especially with the reduction of purple and yellow mods which instead of moderately reducing they went to the extreme?
I agree that the advisor is there to help newer players get acquainted with mods. In reality it's not they click a button and mods the advisor thinks are good are added. Well we have already proven the advisor makes extremely bad choices. I used my example but there is plenty of others who have had the same experiences.
So in actuality were not teaching them anything. I'm sure they cant understand how their higher ranked team lost to a lower ranked team! Because the lower rank custom fitted their mods and the other used mod advisor. Do I expect it to place the prefect mod all the time but it seems like many other so things done by CG is hard to imagine they d didn't pick some arbitrary number to go off. Time and time again it seems CG takes the easiest way out and runs with instead of putting the extra effort.
