He is right though, unless you have great coordination Jedi isn't the best way to go. A good Jedi team can hit 4% damage. Most are around 2%, which means all 50 members must hit 2% to complete the phase.
A better strategy is to have a bunch of Jedi teams and some zSavages and zKylos do large chunks (10-15%) of damage. There are plenty of videos on how to do this.
TM teams are tough in P1 because of the taunts and GG's specials. They can work but take more effort than the Pit TM teams. You have to have a fast dispeller (Rex) and pay close attention to how often you've hit GG.
Do NOT run zVader as lead. He'll set of GG on an infinite turn loop.
