If you’re asking whether someone that has spent more money on the game than you will have an advantage in this game mode, the answer is probably. That is why they spent the money.

Assuming that’s true... It does specify equal rewards, so in a sense you’ll be benefiting from money spent by your guild mates in this mode without spending yourself. This sounds made for ftp players.

Ya I'm thinking the same thing about the shared rewards. I'm in a top guild and have a large roster and should be able to contribute I hope, but I'm concerned about hard mode farms for requirements. I farmed hrsoldier since I saw **** awhile ago and he is just 56/50 now. So if there are surprises like that then I would be forced to reconsider if my time is worth the effort anymore.

Given this new mode will allow you to use your entire roster, including ships, I don't think having HRSoldier, or any other specific toon, is going to make or break your ability to meaningfully participate.

IMO, the people farming HRSoldier are wasting their time - I doubt there is going to be anything special about having that one specific toon. Sometimes certain toons have synergies that are beneficial in game modes (chirpatine, pre-nerf nute, zMaul led sith teams, etc) But without a rework HRSoldier has nothing special about him that would grant any kind of synergies that wouldn't also be granted to other members of his tagged factions/roles.

Perhaps, but CG has to make some $$$ some way, and the easiest way to do that is require hard to farm, less used toons. Not complaining cause hey, it's new content. So bully for you CG!

This is true. I expect though that that will come from encouraging people to have deep rosters (both ship and character). Or possibly from encouraging faction specific teams (maybe) - which HRS is in a faction with plenty of members, so... but if people need say a full ewok faction for an area, that is where the spending gets encouraged. (I'm thinking the comments regarding chirpa being July toon, and the comments that ewoks don't travel alone means 1 or more new ewoks being release).
