Nightsister Zombie Remains at -100% Speed for Entire Battles after Dying Multiple Times?

Hi All.

I use NS for arena and for 1/5 battles Zombie remained at -100% speed despite being killed over and over again essentially making her a paperweight.

Same day I was lucky enough to be able to use NS at the end of P2 Sith today (T6) to get my Deathstorm team started early and that all fell apart when Zombie once again was stuck at -100% speed which not only made offense buildup slower but another char got isolated because Zombie could no longer taunt so I had to toss the run.

2/3 of my Sith attempts were like this and Zombie started working as she was intended on the third time.

My undying sacrifice is level 1 but this still shouldn't be happening.

Bug reports has been down for a while now so I haven't been able to report this but have I been the only one experiencing this?
  • If you let one of your other characters die it will reset to normal speed.

You get 2 of those per battle
  • Is it not all you hoped for and dreamed that zombie should be? What people fail to understand is she represents millions of zombies, when one dies a new zombie steps up and takes the fallen ones place. Everyone keeps claiming she is resurrected and is the same zombie. The new zombie is total dead weight until GS10 and here new omega ability used. She needs to be fat and fast.
  • So there is no bug...? This sounds complicated to use but extremely easy to defeat. This is all because not everyone chose to not gear up one character...? If all tanks had unique punishments for not being awesome I would get it. Like if Teebo hibernates for the rest of battle if he loses all protection, or Old Ben poofs from battle if Vader lands a critical hit on him...but wow. Thanks for the explanation though. It's much appreciated :)

You know, other tanks do have a similar punishment, it's called death.

Yeah good point. I should be grateful that Zombie has the capability to revive after -100% speed after g10 with the ability to no longer take any turns or taunt.
  • What gear level is your zombie?

There is no bug, this is the intention. The new strategy for zombie is about keeping her alive after she takes a hit, that's how you need to build the setup.

Can i just check this is correct, as she also can't seem to gain TM (or at least doesn't take a turn when at 100% TM)

So after 2 other NS have died, and shes been killed twice, she's on -100% speed, there is nothing she can do anymore, not attack at all (to taunt)? No way to remove that -100% speed or even get her to take a turn through TM increases?

Really takes the fun out of it if so, was SOO FUN the fact she always taunted to take the nihilus / treya attacks
that normally prevented being revived. She's g11 with the omega, i wouldn't have botherd if i knew she wasn't going to revive a normal speed again.. I mean, whats the point?

After 2 other NS have died and triggered Undying Sacrifice, Zombie is then "on her own" for survival. Once she gets down to -100% speed, I don't think there's any way to return her to active duty.

What you need to do is get her to gain bonus speed. When Sion takes a turn, he's likely going to kill her. However, when Nihilus takes a turn, his basic will strip her taunt, but the next attack will likely hit another Nightsister. As long as Zombie survives that hit, and takes another turn, she'll gain 50% speed.

Additionally, if you can get Sion to counterattack and hit taunting Zombie, she can usually survive the one hit, and then her next turn she'll gain stacks.

There are ways to ensure she stays alive, but you need to mod her for survival now - she has to survive a bit on her own, in order to constantly revive and stay in the fight.
