Scrolling through and I don't think anyone asked: Why does anyone expect Malak in January? He last ran November 8th, so using 3 months as the beginning of a timeframe for a return that would put him in February.

The original date for Malak (that failed miserably) was in October or even before. If they would keep the cycle as planned (so that players could plan ahead just a tiny bit) it could have arrived in January.

Even without checking any of what you said, that's a lot of if's and could's to expect something.
