No way to get omicrons now without pay2win?
Before I'd get 1 a week from a galactic challenge. Now I can't get one unless I pay a bunch of money? Why?

Now, you'll get 3 a week by buying them through the store. This is even if you do no galactic challenges. If you do no GCs you'll end up with 15 Omicrons over 4 weeks. With minimal effort you can probably get to track 43 and the 16th Omi. Again, you have to buy them in the store. You probably won't have enough currency until the end of the week for the episode
to get 3 i need to get to tier 11 by the end of the week. In two days I barely got tier 1. That math doesn't add up.
Right now I have completed everything that is doable (mostly) f2p, and I'm at tier 4 + (2825/5000).
I have Huyang at 65 shards, which means I have 3 / 4 of Tier II of the GC.
I have 2 / 4 up to Tier X of the GC. I realize not everyone will be able to do this though, without Saw or Luthen, but mostly everyone should at least be able to get 1 / 4 on Tier X and 2 / 4 somewhere in the middle tiers, if they had a shot at GCs in the past. So that means 2425 less episode points if you made it to Tier VI (the non-relic tier), meaning you should be at Tier IV now regardless.
I have easily completed all but 4 of the Huyang quests (and the remaining ones aren't hard either), but that won't help me since I am not getting the pass. I am hoping they will make changes to give some reward for completing all the quests without the pass, but that's just speculation.
I expect to be able to buy enough loot (omicrons) by the end of the event to not complain loot-wise, but we will see.
