You think daka is bad? Run up against poe, rey, ewok elder, GS, FOTP this is a very tricky line up to beat. Go after the wrong toon first and your dead. No mater who your using
Evok elder won't revive outside of his turn like daka's chant of resurection, abilities that whould work only when they are activated.
I personaly use daka in all matches. Her serve again pasive ability will resurect a character right after it will die.
As in my description you would think this would happen once in a milion. But this is not a daka bug, it's an AI built fault.
As another example, there's a team in the arena with IG-88 and poe. There's only one combination of team that would work to to oneshot kill ig-88 with genosian soldier's ability call an assist and in other 4 cases ig-88 will dodge both GS's attack and the assist. If this attack doesn't work, poe will taunt and next ig-55 would one shot kill the maxed luminara, GS, old daka, leaving sid and teebo with red health bar.
So in 4 turns, that teams wins and this combination affects the meta.
I know what their abilities are. No need to explain. I have no issue with daka. Sure she rezzes alot, but I just kill off once again what she rezzes, then her.
If this is GW. Target someone kill, if she keeps rezzing just retreat and target someone else. No big issue.
The ig-88 and poe us a deadly combo. However you are wrong about only one combo of a team that can win.
Of course the fast pace Jedi team. You also can use a poe and hope to win the coin flip. You can use Yoda who goes before them and do meditate to resist poe turn meter reduction, and expose, or do his big special ( can't think of the name ) on poe for the 65% chance at -40% turn meter ( which is what I do against droids teams ). Any fast toons ( Leia, sid, dooku, Rey, qgj, Yoda, GS) will go before poe. 2 shots from any of them will kill 88, if not 1.
