You may also want to make a post at <> . Since the update, it could be considered a visual bug that it doesnt get a count like all other stacking buffs/debuffs
Hmmm, a search of the Answers HQ found that it was flagged as a bug in March. Hopefully it'll be fixed "soon™"."jkray622;c-1595704" wrote:

Past 2 stacks on a character or 4-5 for a raid boss, there's no point because they are at 0% defense. But it'd be good to know when you're there.
The game obviously tracks the number of stacks - so hopefully it'd just be a graphics prompt.
I wish it worked this way. Shred removes 25% of current armor (for raid bosses). So if Sion starts at 75% armor and you remove 25% you're at 56.25%. Second stack of shred and you're at 42.18%. Third stack = 31.6%, and so on.
Hmmm, after 4 stacks I stop seeing an improvement in damage. Are you sure?
Yes. I'm sure. Where are you getting to 4 stacks of Darksaber?
Also, I was using big numbers to emphasize the point of the impact of 3 shred's not reducing it to 0. We can start at 50% Armor (I think that's Sion's armor HSTR) and it goes.
50% starting, 1 = 37.5%, 2 = 28.125, 3 = 21.1, 4 = 15.8. So on that last stack you've only removed 5.3% ish. Extend that to how Armor works and it increase what would have been 9,500 dmg to 10,000 dmg. That's close enough to the regular dmg variance of a character that you may not see the impact, but it's still there."Rebel_yell;c-1595503" wrote:

Are you sure about that @Rebel_yell ? How do you know the effect is compounding muliplicative instead of additive? My experience in this game has always been that these effects are simple addition."Rebel_yell;c-1595723" wrote:

I was getting to 4 stacks of Armor Shred in the Sith Raid phase 2 vs Sion, who has a very high defense range."EventineElessedil;c-1595726" wrote:

maybe @Kyno can chime in. He's usually pretty knowledgable about these things. or if we're really lucky, @CG_SBCrumb will put this to rest for us.
Multiplicative or additive on Darksaber strike?- I'm just bumping this again in the hopes that more forum participants see how the game designers do listen. We may not get everything we want, but they're working on things that help the playability and it's appreciated.
- Woohoo, I was happy to see it in the patch notes!
