Please update Stormtrooper Han's taunt effect

When Stormtrooper Han taunts with his special Draw Fire, "all other allies gain 20% Turn Meter when Han is damaged while his Taunt is active."

Can you move this turn-meter-granting part over to his Unique, please? As it is, he only grants this turn meter if he taunts from his special. If he is caused to taunt by some other effect, such as by Wat Tambor's Bactoid Shield Generator tech, he does NOT grant the turn meter to allies. But if this were on his Unique, presumably he would grant turn meter when he's made to taunt by another character or game interaction (such as how Bastila Shan makes Jedi tanks taunt at the beginning of an encounter).

This would be an incredibly cool synergy that I do not believe would be game-breaking, but would provide a useful boost to a venerable character (Stormtrooper Han) in rare situations, e.g. it would be an interesting component to a Territory Wars or Galactic Arena defensive team, but it has many counters available against it (daze, shock, mass shock, buff immunity on STHan, etc).
  • Short answer.. no. Why would they? Hes been in game since the beginning so why change his kit because some new shiny toy came out which would circumvent how his TM boost is applied?
  • @Syrup_Chugger3 the same reason they change wording in newer kits, use newer terminology, and such, the game has changed from back when he first came out. When they originally built his kit, they probably did not know there would be forced outside taunts that would effect him in this way. See the changes to other kits fitting this same description.
  • True, but wat was not a character made to directly synergize with ST han, (think tags, not a rebel, not a a scoundrel) he just so happens to work well. Shoot that's like asking if CG can update han and CLS to say something dumb like "deal double damage if target was exposed" just because c3p0 came out.
  • Nothing in their kits state they deal double damage in an ability that involves a game mechanic that would fit better in a unique. Being in a taunt state allows STH to give his other team members bonus TM when which sounds like a Unique ability vice text in a specific special.

    Two different situations.
  • There are many other characters that have effects that trigger when taunting, no matter how the taunt came about.

    Bossk: His unique Trandoshan Rage says "Bossk has +50% Defense and +50% Max Health while he has Taunt..."

    Fives: His unique Domino Squad says "...If Echo is present, Fives has +100% Defense when Taunting..."

    Echo: His unique Domino Squad says "...If Fives is present, Echo deals +100% more damage when Fives is Taunting..."

    Kylo Ren (Unmasked): His (zeta) unique Scarred says "...Kylo has +50% Counter Chance, doubled while he has Taunt."

    Sun Fac: His unique Hive Tactics says "When Sun Fac Taunts, he gains Defense Up, Health Up, and Health Steal Up for 2 turns..." (I just confirmed that Wat's taunt tech triggers all these buffs, and his allies even get them at the beginning of second and third waves because it appears that Sun Fac loses Taunt at the end of an encounter and then regains it at the beginning of the next encounter.)

    Sith Empire Trooper: His unique Vaiken's Legacy says "Whenever a Sith ally uses a Special ability or falls below 50% health, ... If he already had Taunt, he gains Retribution for 2 turns."

    Juhani: Her unique Cathar Resilience says "While Taunting, Juhani has +35% Counter Chance...If Juhani is Taunting when she meets this condition, she loses Taunt."

    Shoretrooper: His unique says "Whenever another allied Empire unit uses a special ability, if Shoretrooper is Taunting, they gain 15% Turn Meter and Shoretrooper recovers 10% Max Health."

    Thus there are at least 8 characters who have specific effects from their uniques that happen while they are taunting...all of these should work with Wat's taunt tech.

    There are five I could find (including Stormtrooper Han) who have a special-triggered Taunt effect like Stormtrooper Han: Stormtrooper, Old Ben, Gamorrean Guard, and Kanan. These effects seem like they will not work when Wat (or anyone else) forces a taunt.

    Stormtrooper: His special Stormtrooper Bravado says "...Stormtrooper removes 10% Turn Meter from each enemy whenever he is damaged while Taunting." I have not tested to see if this effect works with Wat's forced Taunt tech.

    Old Ben: His special Devoted Protector says "Old Ben gains Taunt for 2 turns. When this Taunt expires, Old Ben gains Taunt for 1 turn..."

    Gamorrean Guard: His special Muscle In says "...The Gamorrean Guard gains Protection equal to 15% of his Max Health while Taunting." (You can see that this is an old skill because it doesn't specify Bonus Protection or say "recovers Protection" like the more recent verbiage.)

    Kanan: His special Intervene says "...While Kanan has this taunt buff, his Tenacity is doubled." It would also be nice if that could be moved to Kanan's unique, since Bastila Shan lead forces Kanan to taunt.
  • Yeah true, could produce something cool in rare situations as OP said.
    However, CG doesn't bother to do even minor balance updates on characters at all.
    The only thing similar to this that they did was with Plo's basic abillity.
