You can say whatever you want about them. They're were being misused and abused. But it was more of a tool for the community to attempt to shape the game. Like if 90% voted for a nerf to GW. Or Yoda. ...

CG Salera said that he got rid of polls because of all of the duplication. Some people pointed out that the real reason was because the polls were critical of the direction the game was going, and clearly showed that the dev's plan and what players want are mutually exclusive. Then the thread got shut down like many other before it that are critical of the game.
