Quite simply, pure teams are a joke!

Haha. True @NightfallsCurse. I have two synergistic squads that rake in 500+ crystals a day. Resistance and Rebels ;)

Also, it is a little more work, but you can check out @BoxandthefuzzForever or Rumple on youtube. They run Empire and Sith respectively and take 1st.

I do the same; doesnt mean LS still isnt OP as hell.
Honestly a big part of it is that a mentally deficient bonobo could operate a CLS team with prowess. Meanwhile, a quality empire team typically has some of the most unquestionably bad AI imaginable.

Would help if LS didn't get and then keep all the functional Meta. Chaze is still disgustingly effective, same with Rex, LS never seem to loose any meta lately. They just get the sugary goodness pilled on. Along with every character can cleanse. It's flat out objectively speaking, outrageously one sided.

Right...ive mentioned before that the issue of LS vs dark is that LS has everything, and a lot more build options due to viable characters. For pete's sake, DS still doesnt have any real healers, let alone cleansers or scrubbers. 'well you have such and such and such'...yeah, well...show me a single DS category that has DPS, spike damage, taunt bypassers, healers, cleansers, scrubbers, auto-taunters, team-boosters, turnmeter boosters, turnmeter removers, retaliators, protection management, revivers, etc.
Only 'rebels' have all of these things as a category; heck, they can probably mamage it within a 5 man team alone.

And Thrawn, being a legendary character... well let's just say his cleansing is missing a little something and doesn't quite match that of GK, Rex or Chirrut! This is what i mean:
