Community boycotts rarely work, but I've done a personal boycott before, after a clear bug cost me a GAC win. I asked for the 700-crystal difference as compensation from their support, and was denied. So I boycotted buying the conquest pass for 9 months. Saved $90, all because CG wouldn't compensate me $5 worth of crystals for their own mistake. Did CG notice? I doubt it. But it was a win to me.
I plan on doing the same here if they nerf the DS Clones split and I don't get compensated for those materials. I took those toons up to R9 purely because I wanted to help my guild by delivering a high initial raid score. The only way I could justify spending those materials on the raid is if it landed me 7.2M for the sake of the guild. If they take that away, I fulled intend on boycotting both the conquest pass AND the episode pass until such time as they reverse the change, compensate my materials, or a new raid comes out. That's $30/month x ~12 months = $360 that CG won't be taking from me if it comes to pass.
True to my word, I'll continue to buy the episode and conquest passes since you didn't nerf the DS Clones @CG.
