That sounds like a sweeping generalisation based on scant data.
And depending on where you are in the game, 25 mk5 furnace salvage can be a godsend.
We regularly get great rewards from the sim. We sometimes get poor rewards. Over the piece there is no competition for which provides the better rewards. Sim rewards win hands down.
Also I have 15 players that do not have 7* han. And for them getting 10 shards every time the raid is done means even if they were at zero shards it would take 33 raid sims to get a 7* han. And we run 3 rancor raids a week which would mean a player could get a 7* han in 11 weeks. Which means a player from 0 shards can get han in under 3 months. And for a new player that is a god send.
