Poe is an exception, and yes I am aware of that.
His taunt probably counts as an attack because he can land Expose. I think Expose might be an exception concerning Ackbar and Phasma abilities. Does Poe taunt proc Offense Up against Dooku or TM against Ben? (I honestly don't know, but if so, it's consistent with the Ackbar/Phasma "rules," anyway).
I just thought of another reason evasion might be popular, for the time being. Evasion teams can be competitive at power of under 35K. Once you exceed that, your GW becomes very difficult.
I'm sure every single player using a top tier evasion team is also working on other squads/toons. I'm sure you are, too.
Just because evasion is a good choice for Arena, so what? Barisse is the queen of GW (for a lot of people). Is that a problem? Why?
The only difference is GW (for most people) can be beat 100% of the time. Arena.... you can't always win. Losing is frustrating. If you remove dodge, you will be 100% as frustrated. Just for a different reason.
